One of the most intriguing things I’m learning lately is about perspective. It’s fascinating and understanding it softens me in some way.
When I think about over 7 billion people, each one has a different perspective depending on the circumstances they’ve been through, then try and communicate and get into deep conversations and really listen to a person you will be able to understand and see from their perspectives. It may be completely different than yours, no right or wrong just a different way of seeing things.
There is a human library that started in Denmark where you borrow people instead of books and you listen to their story, you listen to their point of you and how they became who they are now, the idea is not to judge.
Think about an incident where you’ve disagreed or just didn’t understand that someone. Then remove all ego pride etc. and just sit there in their shoes and try to understand why they’re saying what they’re saying or seeing what they’re seeing or believing what they’re believing. You have now teleported mentally into a different location.
It’s kind of cool!
